Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 25, 2026
We want Clarity Collective to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, captions, reduced motion, or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet or get close to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA wherever reasonably possible, and we're working toward WCAG 2.2 AA on new pages.
What we've built in
- Semantic HTML and a clear heading order on every page.
- A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- Real labels on form fields, not just placeholder text.
- Visible focus styles on links, buttons, and inputs.
- Color combinations chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast where possible.
- Honoring reduced-motion preferences: non-essential animations are reduced or removed for users who request it.
- A plain text fallback link below our booking embed in case the embed doesn't work for you.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site rely on third-party services (booking, payments, analytics). Their accessibility is largely outside our direct control, but if you hit a barrier inside one of those embeds, we want to know — we'll help you complete the task another way.
What we're honest about
- We do not claim perfect compliance, and we do not use an accessibility overlay or widget.
- We're a small team and we may not catch everything. Reports from real users are the fastest way for us to fix things.
Tell us when something isn't working
Email Sue@ClarityCollective.guide with the page URL where you hit the problem, a short description of what didn't work, and the assistive technology, browser, or device you were using (only if you're comfortable sharing — it helps us reproduce the issue).
We'll do our best to respond within a few business days and, where an issue can't be fixed quickly, find an accessible way to give you the same information or service.
