Coaching Disclaimer
Last updated: May 25, 2026
We care about helping you find direction, and we also care about being honest about what coaching can and cannot do. Please read this carefully before booking.
What we offer
Clarity Collective provides coaching, education, reflection, planning, and personal/professional development support. Our work is about clarity, structure, and a steadier next step — not about telling you what to do, fixing things for you, or replacing other professionals in your life.
What coaching is not
Coaching is not, and should not be treated as a substitute for:
- Therapy or psychological treatment.
- Mental-health counseling.
- Medical advice or care.
- Legal advice.
- Financial, tax, or investment advice.
- HR or employment-law advice.
- Recruiting services or job placement.
- Academic counseling (unless your coach is separately qualified and we've told you so).
No guarantees
We cannot and do not guarantee a specific outcome. That includes job offers, interviews, salary increases, promotions, admissions, business results, or emotional outcomes. Results depend on your effort, your situation, market conditions, and many factors outside our control.
You stay in the driver's seat
You are responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take — your applications, interviews, communications, finances, health, and professional steps. Coaching is here to help you think more clearly, not to take the wheel.
If you're in crisis
Coaching is not appropriate for emergency or crisis support. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please contact emergency services right away or reach out to a licensed mental-health professional. In the United States, you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Career and employment questions
Conversations about jobs, employers, contracts, immigration, taxes, benefits, or workplace disputes are general and reflective. Please consult a qualified professional (employment lawyer, CPA, licensed recruiter, immigration attorney, etc.) for advice you can rely on in those areas.
Testimonials
Testimonials and case studies on the site describe one person's experience and do not promise a similar result for anyone else.
Scope and referrals
If something comes up that's outside the scope of coaching, we will say so — and where we can, we'll point you toward someone better suited to help.
